Johnny Romano purchase

Johnny Romano played 10 years in the majors.  He started his career on the South Side in 1958 and 1959.  He did appear in one game of the 1959 World Series.  He was part of the trade after the 1959 season that sent him to Cleveland with Norm Cash and Bubba Phillips for Dick Brown, Don Ferrarese, Minnie Minoso and Jake Striker.

He was traded before the 1965 season back to the White Sox.  The White Sox also got Tommie Agee and Tommy John.
